2025 Registration and Contest Dates
Registration for the 2025 Regional Competitions will open in January 2025. Students can compete independently or as part of a school program. We will post more information on how to register later this fall. In the meantime, on this page you'll find contest dates and deadlines, regional assignments, student registration caps per school, and more. More info coming soon!

Registration Fees
We want to reduce or eliminate as many barriers to participation in the contests as possible. Thanks to support from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, we have reduced registration fees again this year to $10/student for the Regional Competitions and $10/student for the State Competition; we will also offer registration fee waivers for students who request them by filling out the form at the link.
Travel Assistance
Need help getting to the state contest? Please get in touch! We are prepared to offer bus stipends to cover the costs of transportation to the Regional and State contests as well as other accommodations upon request. Please email us at nhd@ftigo.com for more information.
National Contest
The National Contest will be held in June 2025 at the University of Maryland College Park, dates TBA.
